About
My work is shaped by a fascination with how people inhabit space. Whether designing a home, a restaurant, a workshop or a larger development, I am interested in the relationship between architecture, landscape and everyday life.
Much of my work explores the spaces in between: courtyards, terraces, gardens, open kitchens and thresholds that blur the boundary between inside and outside. I am drawn to projects that strengthen our connection to place, climate and the rituals of daily life.
Materiality plays an important role in this approach. I am interested in materials that reveal how they are made, age gracefully and contribute to the atmosphere and character of a place. Whether natural, reclaimed or industrial, I believe materials should be an integral part of the architectural experience rather than something applied afterwards.
My background combines renovation, construction, cultural projects and design. Over the years I have renovated buildings, organised exhibitions and events, collaborated with artists, and designed everything from furniture and kitchens to hospitality venues and larger development projects. These experiences continue to inform the way I think about space, balancing conceptual thinking with a practical understanding of how things are built and used.
Today I work with private clients, businesses and developers on projects in Belgium and Portugal.
